| Let's see what's going on. Well, after the frustrations of Wednesday night, last night I got a good group with what I guess I'd think of as the A-players in the guild. The same part of the instance that took 2.5 hours with two full repairs, took us about an hour with one death. Then the instance server crashed and we lost our instance. GRR. And why I want to be there is the last boss, which I've yet to make it to, has all the good caster drops including a droolworthy 1 hander with over 400 spellpower. I didn't have much time, so we didn't try a repeat, instead we burned through heroic violent hold in about 45 minutes. I got some new equipment out of it which is always welcome. But really, it was fun, it was professional. A few weeks ago I was whining about a clock radio, well we now have yet another one. I thnk this is a keeper, it drags in stations like crazy. Instead of desperately trying to get one public radio station, we now have our choice of two repeaters for each of the two stations that does business on cape cod, the community radio in Ptown, and two public radio stations dragged in from Boston. It even looks nice! I just need to work out a few issues with the alarm and we'll be fine. And this finally frees us from the tyranny of The Takeaway, which our local station replaced our first hour of Morning Edition with and which is probably the worst news show I have ever heard on public radio. It tries to appeal to the young people. It's like groovy you know? I'm back to reading the new Thieves World book. Well new being relative. It's 6 or 8 years old and one more has been released since, with apparently no others on the horizon. It's very good. Brings us back to the origins of the series, small stories about small people. Cooking has been dull, but tonight I'm going to do something with a pork loin. God that sounds pornographic. But probably something involving unraveling it and rolling something back up inside.
